*Audiobook listeners. R.C. Bray told by doctors that he needed to take a break to save his voice. Thus, the release of Khaos in audio has been delayed until December 13. Another newsletter will be released on that date. That said, you can still pre-order it now!
Okay, back to business.
Where do I even begin to talk about the madness that is Khaos? How about the books that brought us to this point. There are spoilers below, so if you haven’t read this far in the Infinite Timeline, scroll down to learn everything you need to know, read those books, and then come back here. 🙂
First came Tribe. It was one of the most action-packed, bonkers novels I’ve written featuring Greek gods, demigods, a cult, Japanese sukeban, and grandmother cleaning-lady assassins. And it introduced us to Henry–one of my wildest characters to date–who feels no fear, and Sarah, whose strength becomes the stuff of legend.
Next came The Dark, which, as the title suggests is one of my most dark and twisted stories combining mythology about hell with a very personal view of an alien invasion. This story gave us Miah, aka: Laser Chicken, the compassionate hero with a heart of gold and a pair of laser wings to boot. It also introduced Bree, aka: Demon Dog, an eight year old girl whose ability to transform into a demon make her fearsome and savage.
Last, we dove headlong into the insane life and antics of Mind Bullet, following a telekinetic assassin and his friends as they are pursued by a treasure trove of hilariously psychotic killers, uncovering his complicated past and unbelievable parentage along the way. Jonas, the assassin, who has a sarcastic wit and untapped potential, is joined by Bubbles, an AI with a grudge against ducks and developmental trajectory propelling her toward sentience.
And now…they’re all coming together for a book that could only be titled Khaos. Not just because of the word “chaos” but because they are en route to the mythological land separating Earth from Tartarus–the perilous land between worlds known as Khaos. So let’s dig right into this!

STORY DESCRIPTION:
To save mankind…they must raise the gods.
Several months after his neighborhood was cloaked in darkness and invaded by the demon-like denizens of a hellish world, life has returned to normal for Miah Gray, aka: Laser Chicken. No longer burdened by PTSD, he is free to enjoy his family and to help pick up the pieces of a pillaged world.
At night, he trains with his eight-year-old companion, Bree, aka: Demon Dog, and their neighbors, Henry and Sarah, the god-like descendants of Helen of Sparta and the mythological Zeus.
All is calm…until new neighbors move in across the street and shatter the peace. Jonas, aka: Mind Bullet, a telekinetic assassin, and his artificial intelligence, Bubbles, are pursued by strange and powerful enemies. The neighborhood is rocked by sudden violence, but the unlikely heroes band together to save the residents once more.
However, their victory is short-lived when it’s interrupted by the appearance of a superhuman figure who has been influencing their lives for years: Linda.
Aka: Zeus.
In classic mythology fashion, Zeus, supreme god of Olympus, sends them on an urgent quest: descend into the underworld, travel through the realm between worlds—Khaos, face whatever trials await, find the gate to Tartarus, and summon the gods and Titans residing there to war. A grave evil is coming, and only Earth’s oldest and most powerful heroes can stop it.
New York Times and #1 Audible bestseller Jeremy Robinson descends into the underworld and brings his unique brand of madness along for the ride, putting a new spin on Greek myths, building a fantastic new world, and laying the final puzzle piece for the Infinite Timeline, which will conclude in SINGULARITY, an epic crossover novel bringing together a dozen books. KHAOS is equal parts character, myth, humor, and poetic action sequences.

WOW. We are one book away from wrapping up the Infinite Timeline. It has been a wild seven year journey through this literary world and my own personal struggles with anxiety, panic, and whatever the hell is wrong with my body. I’m both looking forward to finishing and feeling bittersweet. These characters have become family and have gotten me through some rough times. Even better, I’ve heard from many readers that the books have done the same for them. Are the Infinite Timeline books the ultimate escape from what ails us? Guess we’ll have to read to the end and find out!
For those keeping track, the release schedule has shifted a bit because of R.C. Bray’s forced break. Singularity has been pushed back in all formats and will now be released in 2023, pushing Nemesis – Wages of Sin, and The Complete Hunger Trilogy to later (unknown) dates in 2023, and likely Point Nemo to an early 2024 release. But it also gave me a little time to play. As a result, I’m working on another (top secret) screenplay, and I’ve written TWO graphic novels–Little Bird, and 1001 Saves the World–which are being illustrated now and will hopefully be released next Spring/Summer. If that wasn’t enough, I also put together a fun picture book called The Otherworldly Journal of Doctor Erasmus Gray, which I hope to release (only in print/e-book) in the weeks before Christmas 2023, as it will make a nice gift. Whew. A little free time can go a long way.
If you want to make sure you’re one of the first people to find out more, see the new covers, never miss a release date, and hear about the Hollywood news that’s brewing, come join the Tribe on Facebook. It’s a 3000+ member group of fans (and myself) talking about the books. Hope to see you there!
Waiting sucks.
You have no idea! Lol. I feel like I’m always waiting.
Really looking forward to the book. R C Bray is worth waiting for on this one. Release is right around the corner!
I appreciate your books, I had listened to a few audiobooks here and there but never really explored books as an entertainment source. I listened to Infinite first and lets just say I have spent a quite a few credits to amass a collection of your work but I also spent quite a bit more credits on dozens and dozens of books I would never have been exposed to. I listened to your works, then identified the narrators I liked and explored other works and other authors. Anyway thank you for your tireless work and thank you for presenting me the door to a whole new world through audiobooks.
You’re welcome, and I’m thrilled to have played a part in getting you into the world of audiobooks!
Wondering if there is an official playlist for Khaos? Didn’t see it on your youtube. Thanks!
Nope. We’ve only put together official play lists for the books featuring Dark Horse. So, Singularity will have one. The other playlists were compiled by fans.
I can’t believe it took me two weeks to remember to buy the audiobook! I already can’t wait for Singularity!
JR,
I’ve been thinking about this song for a for playlist candidate: Pigeons by Matt Nathanson. Track 4 on Boston Accent. Whaddya think?
