SINGULARITY is HERE!

SCREW THIS POST! TAKE ME TO THE BOOK RIGHT NOW!

I’ve been working on the Infinite Timeline for so long that it feels a bit surreal that it’s coming to a close. There’s a sense of relief that I pulled it off, but now it’s release day and I’m feeling a bit squirrely as I await the public’s response. If you’ve read the whole Timeline and love Singularity, please spread the word, not just about this book, but the whole Timeline! I’d love for the concept of a world of books to catch on, but it can’t do that without you, {First Name}. That’s right, I just called you out by name. So post the book’s images, the trailer (below), the banner above, or just share this whole dang e-mail. Let’s make the world notice (or at least the rest of Craig Alanson’s fans)! Now that I’ve humbled myself before you and beseeched your aid, let’s get to the dang book!

SINGULARITY!

What kind of person decides to create an overlapping universe of interconnected books that culminate in four massive crossovers novels?

A. Someone very smart.
B. Someone very dumb.
C. Someone who thinks they are very smart, but are actually very dumb.
D. All of the above.

I’ll give you a hint. It’s the same grade I got in Spanish. Seriously, this was…an undertaking. It put my creativity, memory, and commitment to the test like nothing I’ve done before. It’s sometimes hard to keep track of a handful of characters. Singularity has how many main characters in one story? I haven’t even bothered counting, but the number doesn’t compare to the level of continuity to keep track of, pull together, and make gel. It was daunting, and incredibly fun. As I got to know the characters, I became fond of spending time with them, and watching how they interacted and got along. Hopefully, you’ll have the same familial feeling that I do with all of these characters when you’re done reading Singularity. If you’ve been waiting for this book to come out, you might have already skipped past all this, so I’ll cut my thoughts short here and get to the good stuff!

KHAOS Audio! And a Secret Book!

That’s right folks. The KHAOS audiobook is finally available! If that’s why you’re here, go ahead and order it now! But keep reading, because I’ve also just released a SECRET BOOK that no one knew I was making.

“Whhhhaaaaa?” you say. “Who makes a book in secret and then releases it just a few weeks before Christmas when it’s questionable it will arrive in time?!”

Me, fool! That’s who! Just scroll down and behold.

Okay, back to business and KHAOS. The Audiobook has been released and after a brief hiatus to protect his golden vocal chords, R.C. Bray is back in the studio, bringing us the supremely recorded release of KHAOS. This one is ear honey, people. Okay, that sounds gross, but you get it. Even if you’ve already read the book, you will love how Mr. Bray brings it to life.

STORY DESCRIPTION:

To save mankind…they must raise the gods.

PROJECT NEMESIS – THE TV SERIES!!!

The time has FINALLY come! I get to announce ONE of SEVERAL Hollywood projects that are in the works. And holy forking shirt balls, it is a big one. Like…kaiju sized.

That’s right folks, as reported in Deadline..

PROJECT NEMESIS, is in development as a TV series!!!

Chad Stahelski (director of John Wick 1 – 4) is at the helm, and if that isn’t awesome enough, it’s being produced by Original Film AND Sony Pictures Television (the team behind The Boys, SWAT, Preacher and Happy!). Below, along with some awesome Nemesis art, I’ll tell you how all this came about, where things are, and where we’re headed.

“I can’t say how excited I am to help bring Jeremy Robinson’s Project Nemesis to the screen. From the first moment I started reading it, I was hooked. This amazing book series has everything I love about the genre: martial arts, action, great characters, and of course, Kaiju!” — Chad Stahelski, director of John Wick 1 – 4

HOW WE GOT HERE

This all began so long ago I honestly don’t remember the year. But it was about six years ago, in September, when I got a call from director Chad Stahelski. He’d read Project Nemesis, and being a fellow kaiju fan with Massachusetts roots, he fell in love with the story. So much so that he wanted to create a series based on it. We spoke for about an hour, with him laying out his vision for the series…which matched perfectly with my own. I was on board, 100%.

And then, the waiting began. It was two years before Chad would go into Original Film for a meeting about the Highlander movie he’s directing and casually mention Nemesis. When he left that meeting, we had producers attached, and shortly after, SONY was on board. Thus began the years-long contract negotiations during which I met with Chad several times, and was lucky enough to attend the John Wick 2 and 3 premieres. Finally, a year ago, the contracts were squared away and signed. And since then–really for the past six years–I’ve been bouncing off the walls, dying to tell EVERYONE that this was in the works. And now here we are, and I’m freaking out. Hopefully, you are too!

WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE WE ARE GOING

ALTER – Preview Chapters!

ARRIVING DECEMBER 4th!*

ALTER is my most mind-bending and heartfelt story since INFINITE. And like the main character of that ill-fated space adventure, Greg Zekser, a doctor from Massachusetts, finds himself alone in very unfamiliar and unfriendly territory. Unlike INFINITE, ALTER takes place in the depths of the Amazon jungle, on Earth, and is very much grounded in reality…and all its brutality. The other similarity to INFINITE is that I wrote this book while dealing with the worst effects of severe head-to-toe neuropathy, caused by a disease that might be Bartonella (stupid ticks!), and which I’m still struggling with today (it’s not as severe now). While Will suffered along with my mental anguish of the year before, Greg got a full dose of my physical discomfort, resulting in a more poignant story, as Greg and I discovered what physical suffering felt like for the first time, together.

While I’m not thrilled to have this disease, I AM thankful to be fortunate enough to channel my discomfort into something positive, the first two chapters of which can be found below.

*The audio edition will likely be out in February and is being performed by Luke Daniels.

A tree branch is the first thing I see upon waking. Normally, such a mundane thing wouldn’t garner a second glance, but as my eyes adjust to the shifting light around me, I focus on the twisting limb slicing through the air in front of me. The bark is smooth, as far as bark goes, like the hide of some hairless mammal. A hippo, perhaps. A few green leaves add color to its heathered gray surface.

As the branch grows larger, I stop seeing the bark and the leaves. All that remains is the limb’s kinetic potential.

A sound like screeching brakes drives home the limb’s murderous intent. The Cessna’s two pilots’ high-pitched screams reveal the state of their unpreparedness for what comes next: eternal supernatural life or nothingness. As my own scream builds, I realize I have yet to fully contemplate the issue myself. I’ve always been so focused on the plight of the here-and-now that I never really gave much thought to what comes next. Probably why I never finished that novel I started.

Viking Tomorrow – The Third Viking Age has Begun!

Buy From Amazon

I first announced this book about two and a half years ago, and it’s been ready for the world for at least a full year. So why am I releasing it now, instead of a flippin’ year ago? Timing. I wanted to make sure a story this epic had a nice chunk of space to pick up steam and carry sales into Christmas (along with Forbidden Island in December). ALSO, I pulled a Taylor Swift and killed my old self. If that reference confuses you, you probably don’t have a teenage daughter. Originally, Viking Tomorrow was going to be a Jeremiah Knight novel, but that experimental name didn’t pull its weight (he was a slacker), so I offed him and switched the author names to the actual duo behind the madness, myself and Kane Gilmour.

You might remember Kane from such hits as Ragnarok and Omega, the two bestselling Jack Sigler thrillers, and the Deep Blue stand alone. Well, now Kane and all of his crazy action and wild concepts is back, and the result is Val, a Viking heroine kicking ass through a post-apocalyptic landscape. That’s right. This is modern VIKINGS in a POST-APOCALYPTIC nightmarescape. If that’s not enough to sell you on the concept, check out the trailer, the promo graphics, the cover and the description below!

And if you want to help Viking Tomorrow sell a bunch and guarantee the sequel gets published, share the promo graphics we’re posting on Facebook, share the trailer (below), share the buy link and POST REVIEWS! Each one helps a lot, and if we hit 40 in the first week, Amazon will start pushing the book, too, which would be awesome.

SUMMARY:

The world is barely holding on. A century after a series of apocalyptic events, humanity is struggling to survive. In the frigid north of Scandinavia, people have returned to farming, fishing and fighting amongst themselves, living as their ancient Viking ancestors once did. But their days in the world are numbered.

The last tattered remnants of humankind have become barren. No new live births have occurred in over a decade. When the remaining population dies, the human race will end.

When a call goes out to the greatest fighters in the North, men capable of surviving a long journey and crushing any obstacle in their path, a young female berserker named Val takes up the challenge. With her eyes hidden behind red-lens goggles, she violently proves her worth, seizes control of a small band of fellow berserkers and heads south to claim her prize: the first glimmer of hope for a tomorrow.

Traveling deep into the wastes of Europe, surrounded by dangerous landscapes and the mutated creatures that populate them, they find themselves pursued by enemies determined to stop them at all costs. Attacked from without and betrayed from within, Val fights for the future, and if she fails, humanity fails along with her.
