I want to talk about Jetpack Comics for a moment, and fill you in on why you should absolutely buy your comics from them.
First off, this photo is of their Jeremy Robinson section. That’s right, a whole section!! >>>
Jetpack has been a part of my family’s lives for the past 15-ish years. Not only are they my comic shop of choice, but my son played Pokemon there for years, and my wife would provide transport for a whole collection of “Pokeboys”, many of whom went on to play in actual tournaments, including my son. My fam was Pokemon royalty, and were befriended by just about everyone in the shop.
Three years ago, when I decided I wanted to finally try my hand at comic books, I spoke to Kyle Litchfield at Jetpack about it. Turns out Kyle knows everything about comics, from the business, to publishers, to artists. He’s a treasure trove of information. And I’ve picked his brain every weekend for the past three years. Kyle’s advice has led to many of our successes, including deciding that Vault Comics was the right fit. (Turns out they were!)
And when NECTAR came out last spring, Jetpack was kind and wise enough to have the only variant cover made for it. When the book sold out two weeks before release, stores who’d missed their chance got variant covers made for the second printing…over 60 different covers!
And I can honestly say I would likely not be here, talking about successful comic books, without Jetpack’s support, and Kyle’s advice. Thank you, Kyle!
As you can see, Jetpack is a fantastic store with fantastic staff…and is the only place where you can order signed (and remarqued) novels and comics online.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT MONSTERS
And all of that brings us to EMOTIONAL SUPPORT MONSTERS! “What the freak is this?” you wonder. Well, it’s a coloring book! Drawn by yours truly. 60 pages of crazy little monsters, each one of them as unique and weird as that guy on the cover.
Now you might be wondering, “What the heck” and “Why?” I have answers for those questions, too! As you might know I’ve gone through some pretty rough times over the past decade. And to help quiet my mind at night, I would sit in bed, put on some Avett Brothers, and draw a single monster, many times pouring all my stress, anxiety, anger, and sometimes victory into them. The result was hundreds of crazy monsters. And these are my favorites. My hope is that the act of coloring my Emotional Support Monsters might also bring more calm into your life. This is really just a passion project of mine, and they are ONLY available at Jetpack.
You can get the book unsigned, signed, or even signed and with a little drawing on it called a “remarque” that I will personally doodle on the cover of your book!
