Will Netflix Put Out Horror Cartoons From Guillermo del Toro?

Guillermo del Toro was supposed to direct “The Hobbit” and that fell through.

Then he was supposed to head up “Disney’s Double Dare You.“

They were going to produces dark, maybe horror, style cartoons for kids.

And that fell through as well.

Now, there is another Guillermo del Toro announcement.

Netflix is getting together with Dreamworks to put out an animated series based on Guillermo del Toro’s YA series “Trollhunter.”

Hopeful this one will not fall through.

(Netflix and Dreamworks are also putting together “Voltron” and “A Series of Unfortunate Events” based on the Lemony Snicket novels.)
