BREAKNECKCOMICS.COM

Breakneck Comics is the product of a lifelong dream to be a comic book creator. Long before I was a writer, I was an artist, and comic books was my medium of choice. Over time, I realized that my art was all about storytelling and I started writing as well. While I was…okay as an artist, it turned out I was a better writer and I ended up landing on writing novels for my bread and butter. But my dream of creating comics has never faded, and thanks to my success as a novelist, I can now pursue this dream in a big way. Most reasonable people would start with a single book. But I’m not reasonable. I’m ambitious. So we’re kicking things off with FIVE graphic novels. Four are original stories: EXCOMMUNICATED, NECTAR, 1001 SAVES THE WORLD, and GROTESQUE. The fifth is based on my novel, soon to be TV series, PROJECT NEMESIS.

Over the past two years, Kane and I have been working with an unbelievable team of artists from around the world, and we got started without knowing exactly how they’d be published. But I believed in the books so I was all in from the start. After a year of working on the books, we were fortunate enough to  be connected with the amazing people at Vault Comics. Feels strange to say they were “blown away” by the books, but the result was a five book partnership deal, so I think they must have been pretty impressed!

We’re now in the process of releasing the books on a steady schedule, starting with NECTAR #1 on March 4, 2026, and Excommunicated #1 in May, 2026. The books will come out monthly for four issues and then as a collection trade paperback. 1001 and GROTESQUE will be released in 2027. PROJECT NEMESIS

Project Nemesis Cover 1“Project: Nemesis is a rip-roaring collision of science fiction, adventure and horror. A grim, wild, and thoroughly entertaining comic!”
—Jonathan Maberry, NY Times bestselling author of MARVEL ZOMBIES RETURN and V-WARS

Jeremy Robinson  has been wowing kaiju fans with his bestselling series of Kaiju Thriller novels since 2012, and now American Gothic Press will bring it to life with the help of comic book artist Matt Frank (GODZILLA: KINGDOM OF MONSTERS). What happens when a government experiment splices DNA from an ancient, giant alien being with that of a little girl? An uncontrollable skyscraper-sized being hell-bent on vengeance for the wrongs against her human counterpart, that’s what!

“[Jeremy Robinson] delivers a story full of terrifying creatures, a distinct sense of mystery, and a number of insane and interesting concepts (like a kaiju-to-human heart transplant) to excite readers and continue to explore down the road. …the first issue sets up a decent sci-fi monster tale that fans of franchises like Pacific Rim and the Godzilla film series should enjoy thoroughly.”
—Fanboy Comics

Based on Robinson’s bestselling Kaiju Thrillers.

ISLAND 731

“Robinson (Secondworld) puts his distinctive mark on Michael Crichton territory with this terrifying present-day riff on The Island of Dr. Moreau. Action and scientific explanation are appropriately proportioned, making this one of the best Jurassic Park successors.” — Publisher’s Weekly – Starred Review

island 1Following the success of Jeremy Robinson’s kaiju-thriller, PROJECT NEMESIS, American Gothic Press has tapped another of his properties for comic book adaptation, ISLAND 731. Robinson and co-writer Kane Gilmour have taken the basic idea of THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU and given it a spectacular kaiju twist.

Following a nightmarish storm and a moment when everyone on board was inexplicably knocked unconscious, the crew of the Magellan attempt to salvage their ship… but SOMETHING is lurking below the surface of the water that does not have their best interests at heart.

Writer: Jeremy Robinson and Kane Gilmour
Artist: Jeff Zornow

So is it possible to order the green cover version?

    • Frank

my comic shop can not find your comic in Diamond Previews so they can’t order it . is the Diamond Previews code: AUG 150 991 accurate ?

      • JRobinson

I just checked another source and it shows AUG150990. So it might have been off by one number. Thanks for pointing it out!

    Wesley,

The green is an alternate cover by Bob Eggleton. Different comic book retailers will handle the giving out of those alt covers in different ways. Check with your local Comic Book store and ask them about it.

I’ve been listening to audio books for the last 9 years on my way to and from work. It started with Star Wars books and original cannon then lead to new cannon. Along the way I ventured into spy/mystery/sci-fi/ and whatever that rabbit hole took me.Then I came across Jeremy’s books actually following R.C. Bray’s narrations from other authors and man am I glad I took that small journey. Infinite was the first, now I am completely caught up from Exo-Hunter to Mind Bullet (which i just finished listening to). Im sure there are some i have missed but like Island 731’s next couple of books but for these last Nine in the universe he’s spitting ….Man im so glad there are people out here entertaining us like this!!! I really hope i can see this hit a screeen man!!And more than that i look forward to see where these Fookin Awsome characters end up together. This man is a modern day kick ass story teller that i do so love!
Thank You So Much for Your Stories Jeremy!!!
P.S. – I really like R.C. better than Jeff but dont tell Jeff, he’s pretty awsome too but come’on R.C.s the best and we all know it.
